The mission of the Waterside P.S.317Q PTO Inc. is to serve as a source of support and promote communication between parents, teachers and administration to engage and empower families in advocating for all children. The PTO also sponsors after-school programs, organizes fundraising and school events to enrich our children’s educational, social and developmental experiences and deepen our community spirit. We value the individual contributions of members, staff, volunteers and partners as we work collaboratively to achieve our organization’s mission.
PTO meetings are open to all WCSS families! Meetings will be the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 via Zoom.

SLT meetings are open to all WCSS families! Meetings will be the last Tuesday of every month at 4:30 via Zoom. 

The mission of the School Leadership Team (SLT) at the Waterside Children’s Studio School, P.S. 317, is a commitment to researching grants and uncovering extraordinary learning opportunities for ALL of the students at our school. Parents, teachers and school leaders are a part of the School Leadership Team so that all stakeholders are involved in the decision making process. This collaborative effort allows these opportunities to exist and expand learning in order to have the highest impact on academic, creative and social growth within our school.

School Leadership Team meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month at 4:30 via Zoom.  All parents are welcome to observe the meeting.  Observers are not allowed to comment during the meeting. They may sit and listen to the Team discuss key issues that will move our school forward.  If you would like a forum to share, please come to our PTO meetings held the first Friday of the month at 8:05, before
Family Friday.
